A dream being came to Earth
in human guise
to give us a reminder of
what the Otherworld is like.
Alas, dream beings can only stay
for so long in the human world
before their exquisite intangibility
gets coarsened forever by reality.
And so the dream being went back
to his natural abode,
leaving us only with
precious recollections
to sustain us for the rest of our lives.
